MERCY MALICK - CHARACTER: CPT. RACINE
Mercy’s film and t.v. roles to date have spanned the gamut from cop (“Officer Ruthie Wilson” on Michael Mann’s “Robbery Homicide”), to faux-porn star (“Autumn Lane” in the forthcoming PG13 mockumentary “The Love Shack”). As “Capt. Racine” she was also able to use her extensive athletic background, which includes former titles in the Ms. Fitness USA system. Mercy has contributed tracks to a Norah Jones compilation, and even toured with Hilary Duff. And she recently added the role of screenwriter to her cv: Mercy’s first produced feature script is currently in post-production. Titled “Tales From The Catholic Church Of Elvis”, it is a screen adaptation of her highly successful stage play of the same name, which chronicles the insanity of growing up in a Catholic school in Las Vegas. Mercy currently resides in Los Angeles.

AARON MATHIAS
- CHARACTER: LT. ANDREWS
On a constant search to know and see what I am about through my chosen work - this is the journey of my life. Making films and collaborating with fellow artists on this journey is the most beautiful thing - working on Trenches was just that; a group of people who are passionate and dedicated to the telling of a story. Movement, friendship and connection. A passionate interest in people. My graditude to Mr. Shane Felux. Scott Carter and Jack Foley wonderful men. Samantha, Graham, Blaise, Scotch and cigar always. Lev for showing me it's ok to use your balls. Credits include: The Other Kind of Balance, Force:Trilogy. Fox(Y) Friends. The Big Turnaround, Waiting For Godot.
MICCI SAMPERY
- CHARACTER: LT GREIG
A native of Baltimore, MD and graduate of W.Va University with a degree in Musical Theatre. Micci won a recurring role on HBO's The Wire, with most recent works as a lead on Discovery Channel's episodic TV show A Haunting. Also, principal in a national commercial spot for Bloom Grocery Stores. Micci makes her living as a professional actress and print model, mainly doing commercials and corporate videos, magazines and catalogues.

LEV GORN
From gaffer to extra to director to first AD to writer to actor; we are all here to tell the story as truthfully as we can. Everyone on Trenches put their balls on the line with the single minded purpose to tell the truth, though we did manage to have a few beers too. I loved being Traina, he is an awesome guy to hang with, crazy but a pussycat at heart. Thank you cast for being so freaking awesome, thank you Shane, Scott Carter, Dylan, Wardrobe & Special Effects, Gram, Studio 9 and everyone else I did not get to insult. HONG CHAU
- CHARACTER: SPC. WING
Hong Chau is a Ragin’ Cajun Asian. She is Vietnamese but grew up in New Orleans, Louisiana. She credits her overly dramatic parents for driving her into the arts. After graduating from Boston University, she moved to New York and began acting with Peeling,, an Asian American theater group. She has worked on commercials and short films. Hong can currently be seen on Finding My America, an original series for Imaginasian, about two best friends and their cross-country road trip from New York to San Francisco. Hong can eat and sleep more than people twice her size, which is why she was chosen to play the challenging role of Wing. Hugs and kisses to the awesome cast and crew of Trenches!
DAZ CRAWFORD
- CHARACTER: SGT. VERRO
Born in Liverpool, England. Having a disrupted childhood and broken family Daz turned something negative in his young life to a positive and successful career in sports. He joined the Royal Air Force and through his training he learned teamed work and sportsmanship. He became successful playing National League Basketball (UK) and becoming ranked 10th in the world as an amateur boxer. He was then invited to join the Seoul Olympic Team representing England. Daz has done numerous commercial campaigns as well as film with such credits as; James Bond "The World Is Not Enough", Wesley Snipe's "Blade 2", "Attila The Hun" for USA Network to name just a few.
- CHARACTER: SPC. BOYENS
KELLEY SLAGLE
Kelley recently shot a final season episode of HBOs The Wire, playing the Asst. Medical Examiner. This summer she will play Diane Devinger in the indie horror feature Women's Studies. In addition to roles in indie film, TV, video, and industrials, Kelley's theatre roles have included Josie in A Moon for the Misbegotten, Nurse Ratched in One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, murderess Karla Faye Tucker in Occam's Razor, Inez Serrano in Ellipsis (adapt. of "No Exit"), and Feste in Twelfth Night. She has also had great success directing and producing short films with her company, Cavegirl Productions.
SCOTT NANKIVEL
- CHARACTER: PFC. JANESKI
Scott Nankivel holds an MFA in acting from Columbia University. Scott has performed in numerous theatrical productions including original productions at the Edinburgh and New York Fringe Festivals. As a stand-up comedian he toured the nation hitting the major venues; Improv, Laugh Factory, Comedy Store and Dangerfields. Since moving to Los Angeles he has appeared in a variety of television and film projects. Most notably he shared the screen with Emmy Award winning Tony Shalhoub in MONK and recently performed in a Sundance short with the Golden Globe nominated directing team of Little Miss Sunshine. As a professional writer, Scott has written for the Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Violet Magazine and Fresh Yarn. He is currently producing his first feature film, entitled, "This Happiness", with his film company Ardent Entertainment.
TOM REUEL - CHARACTER: SPC. RESNIKOFF
Tom Reuel has lived in New York City for the past 18 years. Roles include, Johnnypateen in The Cripple of Inishmaan; Ellard , The Foreigner; Hal, Loot.; and several roles in Shakespeare's plays. He is a member of the Theatre Artists Workshop where he has studied under such luminaries as Keir Dullea, Phoebe Brand and Frances Chaney. Tom is currently working on bringing to public view some of the lesser known characters from Dickens' earliest writings.
ORLANDO WILLIAMS -DE LA ROSA
- CHARACTER: MSG. DRAYCE
Orlando is of Dominican and African-American descent. He speaks Spanish and English. After serving 12 years in the Marine Corps, he is a Combat Veteran of The War in Afghanistan. While in the military, he recieved his professional education and has also been a working actor in his free time; often having to turn down big roles because of his military obligations. He has done numerous commercials, voice-over work, theater, television and films. Mr. Williams-De La Rosa is now out of the military and is currently pursuing his acting career full time.
CHANEY TULLOS
- CHARACTER: PVT. DEL AMICO
Chaney Tullos is very excited to be a part of this project. Recent film credits include Two Minutes Later and Perfect Day. Chaney also appeared in Louisiana’s statewide Seatbelt Safety Campaign commercials. He has worked onstage with Ford’s Theatre (DC), The Colorado Shakespeare Festival, Virginia Stage Company & Swine Palace (LA). Chaney holds an MFA in Acting from Louisiana State University. He is currently based in Washington, DC.
PAUL STOBER
- CHARACTER: CPT. SAMSON
Born in NYC,Raised in Madison,NJ and currently living in VA. working for a mental health supports company, EHS, as a Clinician. My theatrical credits consist mainly of "live" theatre productions :among them The Nebraska theatre Caravan's west coast tour of "A Christmas Carol" (2 seasons) and the outdoor historical drama "TECUMSEH!" (2 seasons) and several film credits over the past 8 years. I like the immediacy and social contact of "live" theatre and the intimacy and scope of film. I appreciate the opportunity to have worked on "TRENCHES" and the chance that was afforded me. I thank the writers,cast,crew,Director Shane Felux and Producers for all contributing to an enjoyable experience. I recently wrapped an Independant Film "Quick Feet, Soft Hands" written and Directed by Paul Harrill.
Through the heat, the freezing cold and rain we fought side by side, a brotherhood in the trenches.
And after
the blood, the tears, and the smoke had faded, after the battle was over, we stood together, side by side, and basked in the achievement of a battle won. We couldn't have done it without you!!
